Where do you get your body fat measured?

I would like to get it measured, but where?

I use a series of equations I found online, and average them, but they are different for men and women. I use the YMCA formula, the US Navy formula, and a third one I don't remember the name of, they are all quite close to each other though.
  • I get my "% muscle" measured at the gym. I used to call it the "fat-o-meter" but have since decided that such negative self talk is toxic. So, from now on, I am focusing on the fact that I am 76% lean instead of 24% fat. LOL

Whatever you call it, most gyms have the tool. If not, there is the old school pinch test. That tool can be purchased at a Clark's (here in Ca). I don't think it is as accurate though.

I wouldnt trust the YMCA formula. Its totally off. I work in the medical field and I had a full body scan on our DEXA machine and was at 41.3% body fat. And now (at 23 pounds lighter and much stronger), the YMCA formula has me at 47% body fat. Thats a REALLY big difference.
