Can anyone tell me how the hell you figure out how many calories you have burned in a 30/60 mins walk?? I'm very new to this and don't go to a gym or use a running machine so have no idea???

Use this site. You enter your weight, how far you walked, and how long it took you. It's pretty accurate.
If you have a smarty phone, you could use an app like Runkeeper to track your walks, and it guesstimates how many calories you burn as well.0 -
I found the best is with a HRM ( heart rate Monitor).
Do you know about how far and how long it took you?
Can average speed and figure rough estimate that way.0 -
A heart rate monitor is a great investment for this purpose, but if you don't want to spend the money.... add it via the "cardiovascular" section on MFP. for me, a 30 minute walk at a 3 MPH pace is around 200 calories.0

If you want the most accurate number that is precise to YOU, I suggest getting a metabolic assessment done. You can find a location near you by typing in your area code on the website: www.newleaffitness.com0
