Are you drinking enough water? I find my cravings increase if I haven't drank my usual amount. Also, I eat a piece of fruit in the afternoon to help fuel an after work workout and curb that junk food snacking. Just take one day at a time. Once you get a couple of days and gain momentum it will help. Also, when I gave up drinking soda three years ago, I realized it was more of a habit than anything else. I didn't really enjoy the taste of it, and it was just my one soda of the day over the lunch hour. If you truly aren't hungry, try breaking the habit of the afternoon snacking.0

Water, flavored water, chewing gum.....or if possible take a short walk and direct your mind to something different?0

I have been doing that lately too...it seems like when I hit my goal weight I think it's okay to sneak in junk every now and then. Wrong! I try to have healthy snacks that take a while to eat on hand for those cravings...a pickle is a good example. Pickles have hardly any calories, and if you get the big ones they take a while to eat. Seems to keep the next craving at bay a little longer. Also celery is a good one, if you like celery. Then something you have to cut as you eat it, like an apple. As for the sodas...you are right about willpower, I just had to stop cold turkey. Dr Pepper was so addicting to me, if I let myself have one, I'd have 6 by the days end! Now, I tell myself that Dr Pepper and tea taste sugary, syrupy, and nasty. lol Good luck to you, and I have wanted to say, looking at your profile pic, you look like a beautiful girl!!! Be sure to give yourself credit for that0

I drink a super hot cup of tea around 2:30pm. The heat and the liquid trick my tummy! It has really helped. I also eat lots of small meals during the day, so that tends to keep me on track, too. When I absolutely MUST cave, my desk drawer has nuts, dried fruits, applesauce, 100 calorie Slim Fast chocolate bars, sugar free dark chocolates, and gum. Those are all within my calorie limit and feel like treats to me.0
