Yay!! I successfully turned away from the vending machine 2 times today, politely declined a cupcake from my manager, and walked away from cookies that are sitting in the lunchroom!!!

I did have a VERY hard time doing this, but I resisted the temptation! I got myself a single serving of dark chocolate (55 cals and lots of antioxidants) and a small hot chocolate (113 cals) to satisfy the sweets craving after resisting all the goodies. I entered them into my food diary and my little snack only cost me 168 calories!

Yay me!! I could have easily ended up blowing hundreds of calories on a 10 min indulgence this afternoon, but I DIDN'T!!!!!

Ok, I am done gushing now..............kisses to me.:smooched:

Yeah, yesterday it was 3 people's birthdays in my office! I was given a piece of chocolate cake, i ate half of it and threw the rest away. I never would've done that before. Good job not giving in, it's especially hard to do when cupcakes are involved (for me anyway)!!!

Good Job. This was a similar week at my office too. I'm glad to say with the excpetion of my PLANNED maintanence day, i did not partake.

I've been holding back this rant for a while, because I know how hard weight loss is. But there are these ladies in the office who keep trying to lose weight. They all get together an compare notes on the latest "lite" or "fat free" processed food they found, be it ice cream, chips, McDonalds etc.

They never talk about their work outs, and they NEVER talk to the one person in the office who has lost 125 lbs and kept it off for three years. (I pick his brain BTW) Or the lady who is a marathoner. (eat it speilling nazi's) They just talk to each other.

I'm not enough of an a-hole to say something about this. But their constant *****ing is starting to annoy me.

Then you are definitely a bigger person than me...I'd tell them to put up or shut up (but probably not in such PG language, lol.)

I did that today too! Had a catered sub lunch today at school and I had 2 small roast beef sandwiches on wheat with lettuce, tomato, spicy mustard, and provolone cheese. I nibbled on a friend's chips and didn't partake in the cookies. I was full when I was done and didn't feel terrible about blowing my whole day. Yay for us!! :drinker:
