Thighs bloated after leg workout??

I took a "ripped" class last night which included lots of squats, deadlifts, and lunges. It felt great last night, my legs even felt stronger and leaner. This morning my legs feels like balloons! primarily my thighs in the front and back. even the cellulite that I thought was improving looked more pronounced :( Is there something I can do after a leg workout(besides drinking alot of water) that can help this swelling? Will it eventually look better?

Your muscles retain a lot of fluid when they do something new that rips them up, but it's only temporary. I like to soak in a warm bath with 3 cups of epsom salts. It will relax your muscles, and you'll sweat out the water trapped in the subcutaneous layer. Plus it will make your skin feel fantastic! I did it last night and lost half a pound of water weight in 30 minutes.

Yes, that can happen. Try massaging your muscles with arnica gel after your soak in the tub.

I find the swelling to get better after the initial introduction of a new exercise, your body just needs to adapt.
