Calories ( confused)

:bigsmile: So, i'm not really understanding why i can eat more calories when i exercise. I thought we were supposed to burn more than we eat. I'm totally confused on this. any help would be great.

    You do burn more than you eat.

    This website takes your average day, and subtracts 500 calories a day so that you lose 1 lb a week (or more if you have a different goal.) So, if you would exercise off another 500 calories, your calorie deficit for the day would be 1,000! That is too much, and your body could start storing fat because it is going into starvation mode. Trust what the site tells you.

    Oh, also go to "tools" and calculate your resting rate. This is the calories it takes to fuel your body if you lay in bed all day. You should never eat less than that. Eat those extra calories!!
