Oh boy, here we go...

I'm new - just signed up today.

I've been toying with joining MFP for the past few months and finally decided to do it. I was always a bit on the chubby side. After high school, I started running and lost close to 30 pounds. I looked good but more importantly, I felt GREAT.

After a few years, I started gaining it back... and now, 70-ish pounds later, here I am. I know what to do and how to do it... it's just *DOING* it. This past year was a pretty rocky time in my personal and professional life... I gained 30-ish pounds in the past 10 months alone. I'm sick of excuses and essentially, my laziness in the areas of exercise and calorie consumption.

I am more determined than ever and looking at 30 years of age soon, now is the time. I'm 5'9" and currently weigh 247.2 lbs. I've already lost about 10 pounds from my heaviest weight at the beginning of the year. I am looking to get back into jogging again and have been building up my stamina to attempt a C25K-esque program.


I feel like I'm back to being a freshman looking for a seat in the cafeteria. Anyone wanna be my friend? :)
