FitBit vs Bodymedia Link

Which do you have and what made you chose one over the other?
Has anyone used both of these to be able to compare them?
I'm using the FitBit now and finding it confusing and time consuming. At 1st I liked the info it was giving me but I'm realizing it isn't exactly accurate. It doesn't count my stairs doing down, only up. And I have 3 kids so I drive around a lot. It's a pain to have to figure that whole mess out. I have just been ignoring the calorie count and food plan area completely b/c it doesn't make any sense to me. And I realized it doesn't measure intensity, just steps. So I have to adjust for that. I'm feeling a bit like I just bought a glorified pedometer and am considering selling it in order to purchase the Bodymedia Link instead.
Any advice?

I had the bodybugg and I loved it, until I developed an allergic reaction to the nickel backing.
When deciding what to purchase after that I discovered the Fitbit and I love it. But I agree - I don't think its very accurate in measuring your intensity, but what I wanted it for - it meets my needs for now. This may change as my cardio decreases and my weight training increases.
If this were to break I would look at some of the other options that are now available, as I wouldn't want to wear an armband all the time, like you have to do with the modymedia or bodybugg - as the indent stays for a period of time and you will have a major tan line.
Best of luck to you.0 -
Thanks! I hadn't thought about the armband being uncomfortable w/the Bodymedia one. That is really something to consider now that it's warmer outside.0
