Hi all,
I am aout 195 lbs. I have lost about 30 lbs. I work out about 5 days a week doing cardio for an hour each time. I started lifting weights about 3 weeks ago. I am wondering if I will have to loose more weight before I will see muscle definition. thanks for your comments:flowerforyou:

    Depends how tall you are?

By muscle definition, where do you mean? if arms etc you will start seeing results fairly quickly, if you mean abs then you will have a way to go, usually you will need to be 8-9% bodyfat to see this.

Keep losing though and weights will definately help as more muscle means a higher metabolism and bmr.

    Good luck

For right now, just worry about following a consistent routine, working on your form and maintaining quality workouts. That will give you the ability to develop a routine that is more focused on meeting your specific goals. The amount of "definition" you see will depend on several factors, including volume, intensity and quality of training, body fat levels, your particular body shape, and your body's ability to respond to training.
