Taste is okay. Not exactly sure about the energy part. Maybe I don't notice is because I'm used to the coffee high
Also I think that's the best water bottle I've had. Hate the idea of the part you drink from exposed when you're not using it.

ive never tried it...but ur only ashamed of the water being exposed cuz u havent drunk it ... just drink it! lol j/k how do u like the mio?0
-
The Mio hurts my belly....can't drink it. :-(0
-
It's great. I find normal water boring so this is a way to get more of it. Energy version is to try to reduce my coffee intake0
-
I haven't tried the Mio Energy, but I use the others. My flavor is Berry Pomegranate.
I understand about bottles that has the drinking nozzle (or whatever it is) exposed. What brand of water bottle is that?0 -
I tried the red kind...fruit punch I think? It was really bland so I ended up having to dump in like a quarter of the bottle to make it taste anything like Crystal Light. Figured that would be too expensive of a habit for me so I gave it up lol!
EDIT: Totally missed the fact that you were talking about Mio Energy! Dang it! Haven't tried it...0 -
I have that exact bottle, but mine is purple. I bought it at Target. I use the other Mio flavors, but not that one, I get enough caffeine from my coffee.0

I use a different version of Mio - tastes better. As to your water bottle, it's kool but the one I had like that broke the latch part the first time I dropped it. Then it was worthless. I broke the clear cap off.... then one day while cleaning, I noticed black yucky stuff growing up in the lid that I couldn't get to. So I tossed it.
Now I use a Bobble water bottle [ http://www.waterbobble.com ]. I'm gonna get the 34oz for work and I carry the 18oz with me (even in bed, easier than crawling out and hunting a drink in the middle of the night). Plus, as long as I have a "clean" source of water (tap water, resteruant, ect) I can filter it. It pulls as much out as my Pur pitcher and tastes just as good.0 -

Under the lid where it screws onto the bottle? There's a gasket that I think you can pry off.
That bobble looks nice but it has an exposed portion that you'd put your mouth on.0 -
LOVE Mio! right now I am drinking the Mango Peach, but I am eagerly awaiting the blueberry lemonade hitting the local stores--I had a sample and it was AWESOME!0

Thanks. I just checked and they have the purple one at the Target I go to.0 -
Just remember if it has caffeine, it's not really hydrating. Most count caffeinated drinks as 1/2... so drink twice as much.
I'm caffeine sensitive so I can't drink the energy. The Mio Sweet Tea does not have caffeine in it. I asked on their Facebook page. So I keep it in my purse for when I get sick of just water. Hard to find decaf drinks sometimes when you are out and about.0 -
The green Mio Energy reminds me of cough syrup, not a fan of the taste at all. But I do like the peach mango and the fruit punch flavors! I would recommend them!0

I had the purple one. Left it at the gym and never found it again. I also like the bigger hole to drink from as I put my protein shakes in it and it would never flow out of some of the other bottles.0 -
I just use a regular aluminum bottle. It has a huge dent where I dropped it on the sidewalk, but it's still kickin. Every once in a while I submerge it in boiling water just to kill any germs that may be inside. I usually fill it with water from the fridge that is filtered. I use the crystal light single serve packs. The aluminum doesn't absorb the smell/taste the way plastic does.0

Saw this on another thread. Thought you should see it!
If you like the new Mio, bad news. its SECOND ingrediant PROPYLENE GLYCOL, is used to make stuff like antifreeze, brake fluid, hydrolic fluid, shampoo, deodorant ect.. and workers handleing it are warned to wear full PPE including gloves and goggles. Now why would they put that , and alot of it in something we DRINK!! I personally am soooo dissapointed! I loved that stuff, and it had me drinking ALOT of water.Shame on the FDA for letting this go and without a warning label! If you use it, please read the link below or google it yourself.

If propylene glycol is the worst thing you consume today, it's a pretty good day. Seriously, I don't think that stuff is as bad as they're making it sound (and I'm a strict whole foods paleo nut). That said, I still think drinking water plain is the "right" way.
Any concerns about the plastic bottle? I'm currently looking for a quality stainless steel bottle to eliminate one more potential source of "bad" in the food/drink I consume.0 -

At the concentration used in food, propylene glycol is safe for humans to consume orally. Like most substances, the does makes the poison. I am including a link to the Wikipedia entry, which contains copious citations.
Please, please, please, do two minutes of research before you spread those copy/paste "warnings". They are almost never true.0 -

I find that the water bottle makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE with water drinking. My favorite bottles are Camelbak's ... I own 3 of them and prob about to buy another..i cant go without it. if i dont have it my water intake significantly drops0
