Need to loose 10 pounds in 5 weeks. I need advice

I have lost 50 pounds and want to loose 10 more before I go on a cruise. Any advice for some hard core dieting in 5 weeks. I walk 2 miles a day and use weights 3 days a week just for arms. Any advice on some quick weight loss. Thanks

    first off, congrats. 10lbs in 5 weeks, eat lite. eat very small portions but often so your metabolism keeps going. Take an extra 15 minute walk or jog a day, cut out all drinks except for water. If you do not like the taste of water, try crystal light metabolism

    The average weight loss is 4 or 5 lbs in 4 weeks. Ten pounds will be hard to lose in a short period of time. If you want to go down a size I would say increase your cardio to 40 minutes 5 to 6 days a week.

  • The legs are the biggest muscle group in the body so you want to do strength training on your legs. Think chair squats and lunges. The more muscle mass you have the more fat that you can burn.

    2 lbs a week is healthy weight loss and in 5 weeks you can lose 10 lbs. You will have to vary your workout by increasing intensity and time. I would do crosstraining so that you can rev up your metabolism. Example of this would be to do cardio for 3 minutes and for 1 minute do strength and continue for at least 40 minutes with a warm up and cool down. Using your legs is great advice since they are the biggest muscle in your body. Simple diet strategies would be to drink your water, make sure to eat your 5 fruits and veggies, limit bad carbs, and stick with lean baked or grilled meats.
