slipping up

I find myself now a month in that even though I am under my calories (99% of the time) I am choosing unwisely. I see at the end of the day oh extra calories, go have a cookie. I am choosing to have junky carbs (Lipton creamy chicken noodles) rather than something better like a baked potato. GAHHHH I am sliping back into my unhealthy habits. I have lots of things in my house that I COULD eat yet I am excercising extra just to have the junk....Someone slap me! :grumble:

That sounds like a slippery slope! I've found that someone telling you not to do something makes you want to do it even more and getting 'punished' for doing something takes away your responsibility to feel guilty about what you have done and erodes your self-discipline! It's all part of the journey - you have to learn to do what you need to do for yourself! It's tough but then nothing worthwhile is easy - good luck! :drinker:0

Yep gotta get my game back on. I thought I was on the right track mentally but I am finding that I am starting to sabatoge myself and I am trying to stop it before it gets out of control.0

I am a serial self sabotager!!! Its like Im afraid to get where I want to be so I try and sabotage myself with junky food, bad choices, and improper measuring, plus lazyness. I am currently trying to pull myself out of a sabotaging habit. I cant keep away from the sweets or get motivated to work out . I think most of my current issue is that my 3 year old gave up naps 2 weeks ago so Im exhausted trying to keep up with his new crazy sleep habits and I get no time to myself, which makes me stressed wich makes me want to eat junk.
I think its about fining the root issue, addressing that, and then not sabotaging anymore. Good Luck 0
