Experiencing some frustration

First off congratulations! That is a great loss. Remember to get enough sleep, drink plenty of fluids, protein after a workout to feed the muscle and do your measurements when the scale does not go down. You are still losing, let it be pounds or inches and it is all a process. Keep up the good work!0

I understand all this. But I think the frustration comes from losing so fast, then almost going to a halt. I still have 98 pounds to lose. So I have a long ways to go! Thanks for the advice.0

I feel your pain. Happened to me too. 75 lbs in less than 6 months and now I have had to really work for the last 15 lbs.
I cut my carbs on my Drs. recommendation. It seems to have worked as I have lost 5 of the last 15 in 2 weeks. I cut out all grain products (except an occasional corn tortilla) and limit fruit to one low carb (berry, melon) per day and all rest of carbs come from low carb veggies. I'm keeping at it for at least 2 more weeks then might introduce a bit more in and see if the rate of loss holds with it in. If not, I just keep restricting. It's not really that much of a hardship as I was lower carb to begin with.0 -
I feel compelled, as an engineer, to point out that Texastongo's diamond analogy is wrong. 20% off two diamonds is not double the price of one diamond at 10% off, assuming the diamond prices are equal. Namely, where X is the price of the diamonds, 1.6X is not twice .9X.
Don't let your fitness training get in the way of school, kids!0
