Happy for myself!

So I just got back from a 2 week vacation in the Dominican Republic where I didn't count calories, or to be honest eat anything healthy. I went back to drinking pop because bottled water was harder to come by and had a couple of alcoholic drinks each day and somehow I didn't gain! Though I have only lost a total of 3lbs I was so happy to come back and realize I hadn't gained it back! Now I am back to trying to get in control of calories and portions today! Wish me luck!

I have been taught and have confirmed for myself that having the confidence to always "get back on track" is helpful in the long term. You might think that it would work against you by letting you think that it's okay to "slip up." But really, it comes into play at those moments when you are feeling low and mad at yourself. You CAN always get back on track. So, be HAPPY and "get back on track" and keep on going!0

Excellent! I'll bet you got a lot of exercise while you were on vacation. I hope you had a wonderful time, and that the weather was good!0

I think it's good for our bodies to mix up the routine once in a while.
