Does anyone know how to count the calories burned during a p90x workout? I'd love to keep track of it to help see the results, but I have no clue where to start...

I got a heart rate monitor, it was the only way that I could actually track my cals burned during those workouts..

Either use a heart rate monitor or figure on average 500-600 calories per workout.

I used to count Kenpo as high impact aerobics, and plyo as circuit training.... but after reading this question on the forums I found some people who recommended this site: http://p90xcalories.com/
They said it was pretty close to their heart rate monitor... so I am using that for now until I get my HRM. (I just add it to the exercise data base)

Yes- Heart rate monitor. They're about 80 bucks for a middle of the line one, and it is so accurate. I use it for my Insanity workouts.

You can't use a HRM. FYI.

Just keep in mind not to deduct your calories burn during workout from your daily goal calculated by P90x guide.
So if you P90x goal is 2500 and you do work out for 600 - MFP will tell you that you have to add 600, you don't need add extra.

There is a website you can go to:

    P90Xcalories.com

Also, most of the workouts are in the cardio section

I use to use the P90Xcalories.com Then I got a HRM. They are pretty close. Actually my HRM said I burned more. So you can use this website and be pretty confident you are not over estimating the burn. Would still suggest a HRM. Some days I burn 484 doing Plyometrics other days it says 630. Think it depends on how intense or how good I am feeling.
