Hi - there are lots of posts on this already, so you'll find lots of info on them in here. I bought one after reading them, it arrived today, so I am new to this - it seems to be a very whizzy pedometer - so it really depends on why you were thinking of buying one. I need to become more active and it certainly seems to be encouraging me to do that - it links to the Fitbit site where there is a computer programme to see how you are doing, floors climbed, steps taken etc. and that kinda motivates me as I like targets, combing that with MFP definitely feels like it works for me. I will look at getting a HRM as well to compliment it once my activity levels go up.
  • Hey. I have one :) It counts the calories you burn according to the amount of steps you take. Cant say for sure its 100% accurate with the calorie burn, but it definitely motivates you to move more, and take more steps. Also you can link it to MFP. You will still need to imput your exercises you do, if you dont take a lot of steps during them, for example weight lifting. x

I like my Heart Rate Monitor! :)
  • I love my Fitbit! If I lost it, I'd have to replace it, it's been a valuable asset in assisting with my lifestyle change and MFP success.
