New to MFP

Hey,

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I am 28 years old and I am currently on day 1 of my new lifestyle change. I don't say diet because it is something that I will continue after I have lost all the weight. My first goal is to lose 115lbs. I am currently 282lbs 8oz and ideally would like to be 168lbs before I set another goal. My BMI is currently sitting firmly in the obsese category, however, it has dropped down a few points in the last few years since I have lost a little weight.

I know this is not going to be an easy journey, but one I must make none the less. I struggle with motivation alot, so I am here looking to make new friends who are currently in the same boat I am of losing weight.

    You've come to the right place! MFP peeps are very helpful and motivational. Honestly, some days are easier than others. But stay with it and you'll definitely see long term results. You can totally do it!
