Hey all, my name is Brittney, I'm 20 years old and I've been around on this site for awhile now but I'm so socially awkward that I never get on message boards. I'm trying to break myself of that and all my bad eating habits!:happy:
I started out last year weighing 210 lbs but with some exercise and smart(er) eating I was able to lose 25 lbs and am now down to 185! I really want to lose at least 25 more (may keep going) to get me to a healthy weight for my height (5'8"). I'd love to be able to feel comfortable in my own skin and have a positive body image for once!

Hi there, I am socially awkward as well! I just signed up to this site last week, along with my mom, grandma, and aunt! I am 26 and want to lose about 25 lbs. I am a yo yo dieter, and I am really trying to get the hang of eating HEALTHY and sticking with it! I hope we can both meet our goals0

Good job so far with what you've lost!! I'm the same way with the socially awkwardness. I have used the app on my phone here and there, but never been very strict with keeping track of my habits. I think the site will help a lot and lets be friends The more (new) friends the better:)0 -
HI I like penguins lol. I'm awkward in person but it's easier here because remember noone actually knows you. Good luck with your weight loss. Sounds like you're doing great. OH and as a culinary proffesional I advice not to taste all your food unless you log it. I hear that's where the weight is gained0

also an awkward penguin :]... am starting at 210lbs and starting weight watchers tomorrow, im only 5ft and need to lose a massive 126lbs to be a 'normal' weight as my doctor put it.....im currently not normal :[0

Thanks everyone! It's sometimes hard keeping my motivation up. I took a week off for finals that turned into a month because I just got my first apartment and I'm adjusting to "adulthood" so all the encouragement (aside from making me feel all warm and fuzzy:flowerforyou: ) is really helping me get back into the groove.:happy:0
