Starting a big lifestyle change and need support!

Hello! This coming week I will begin a diet of fruits veggies lean protein and no dairy. I was wondering if anyone else eats this way on a regular basis or will be starting soon? I think it would be easier when you have people to motivate each other. Is partially a cleanse but in the end I'll be sticking to it as a new way of eating. Feel free to add me as a friend too!

Won't it be extremely difficult to get adequate calories to live on, with such a limited diet? I know if I ate only my fish, vegetables and fruit alone, I would drop weight at a rapid weight and probably become ill, especially with the amount of exercise I do.

I don't think so because you can still have chicken, turkey breast, and ground turkey. I already sub beef with ground turkey as it is. I love fish and chicken as well. You can have whole grains and oatmeal/quinoa as well. It's basically just eating whole, clean foods.

Hi there! I read that you are going to cut dairy out of your diet. I thought the same thing. But when I started reading about the benifits of calcium, and how dairy products are so rich with it, you might think about keeping that in.. As far as lean meats go, that is all I eat as well, along with whole grains, and veggies. Mostly I try to balance out my diet a much as possible. Why have you decided to change your diet? If you don't mind me asking.

I will drink almond milk and take vitamins because I agree with you I don't want to be missing out on nutrition. I dont drink regular milk as it is, just soy or almond milk. I decided to go this route bc I have hit a terrible plateau and realize that even though I am working out harder than ever, my diet is not helping me! The weight is mostly in my stomach and I feel if I cut out the processed "crap" that it will help. :)
