newcomer to this site. Found out about it during a nutrition seminar at my dojo. In a short 2 weeks this site has completely changed my eating habit. All of my meals are now preplanned and preportioned for easy calorie tracking. LOL!

Im a single 28 y/o male who lives by himself so its pretty easy. I eat the same breakfast, same lunch, very few varieties in my dinner choices (except my cheat meal 2x a month! YUMMMM!!!) and same ingredients in my protein shakes. I spend most of the day sunday cooking and portioning meals out intop the fridge/freezer. Food shopping for 1 is a lot easier then when I lived at home and would find all sorts of tempting snacks/foods around the kitchen!

I have a pretty consistent training regimine, jiu-jitsu 3 times a week, gym 2-3 times a week. Light cardio 6 days a week (30 min bike ride at a leisure pace, my only means of transporation!) Some joggin at the gym on the treadmill if I have a run coming up, like next week doing a 5K for Violence Against Women in Brooklyn.

Overall goals are to of course shed a few pounds, more importantly BF%, while mainting and increasing muscle mass (highly debatable topic).

Im finding the remember meals funciton great, but is ther anyway to edit a meal once it is created? I keep having to recreate them if I change a brand or add/delete an ingredient!

Thanks!

One of my biggest lifestyle changes came after a fitness seminar with Martin Rooney (famous for his TrainingFor Warriors program). We did an exercise, very simple.

Step #1 - Extend either arm all the way with your finger pointed like you were pointing at someone.
Step #2 - Turn your hand/arm so that you are pointing toward yourself.
Step #3 - Ask out loud: Whose falut is it I am over weight? Whose falut its it I not feel good about myself? Whose falut its it I do not exercise (enough)? Who is going to change all of this?

Very simple exercise which puts it into perspective, Its all my fault, no excuses, and Im the only one who can do somehting about it.
