30 DS vs cardio opinions

I have been running on the treadmill since January, and I'm in love with it now, but I just bought JM 30 Day Shred to switch it up a little, and I am wondering if I should do 30 DS most days and the other days rest.....or if I should do 30 DS one day, run the next, then 30 DS, and so on? I don't want to completely stop running.....but I am not sure if you're supposed to do 30 DS straight for 30 days or incoorperate other stuff too. Any advice on this would be very helpful! THANKS!
