Diabetics losing weight

I am a diabetic in my late 40's trying to lose about 35 lbs and of course get my A1C under control. Just joined a couple of days ago and would love some accountibility partners!

    You will learn all about health, fitness and nutrition here. and I have some great friends who have been a great help. I am diabetic, and found this a great site to help me lose weight..lost 28 pounds so far :happy: . I'll send a friend request.

    I'm just joining and I'm trying to help my 18 yr old daughter too. My daughter has type 1 diabetes. We both need to loose at least 30+ pounds. Today is day one. Any helpful hints for loosing weight having type 1 would be appreciated greatly.
