Please Help: How many calories

I have been stuck trying to lose the last 10lbs. MFP has me at 1200. I put myself at 1400. I have spent the last hour looking at different websites and they all gave me a different answer how many calories I eat at day. So if anyone can help that would be great.

My info is
34
5'8
150lbs
I sit a good amount of my day for work but walk my dogs for a least a half hour everyday and run every other day (distance depends)

I would like to be 140.

    Keep it simply. You are here, why not follow the site.

    If MFP gives you 1200 I am willing to be you selected a weight loss per week goal that is too high. With 10 lbs to lose you should be aiming for .5lbs a week. The closer to goal you are the smaller the deficit should be.

    Go back through MFP and select that. Eat your exercise calories (just make sure you aren't overestimating).

    Also - keep in mind the last 10lbs are the hardest to lose.

    I would also suggest adding in weight training.

    Eliminate sugars, except raw fruits are allowed 2-3 times per day. This can help to lose weight, but caution it is hard. If you do it, you will have to slowly adjust your sugar intake or you will gain weight back.
