What More Can I Do?

Monday morning rolls around and I find myself in the gym busting my *kitten* on the treadmill or on the elliptical machine for over an hour. This same scene plays out again and again all week long. I only take in 1750 calories a day, while burning about 800 calories in the gym 5 days a week. I lose a couple of pounds during the week, which is incredible, but then the weekend hits and it all goes out the window. What can I do to stay focused and on task for the weekend. I have all the motivation in the world during the week, and I throw it all out Saturday and Sunday. Any ideas out there? Im tired of taking 5 days to lose weight only to put it back on in 2 days. What more can I do???

Find a way to get out of the house. Join a club, find a new hobby whatever is needed. If you aren't at home you don't eat there and if you are busy you don't eat out.
Is your gym not open on the weekend? Maybe a light workout on those days.
I'm the opposite. i have no troubles at home but at work I want to eat everything. So i only bring healthy food and no money for the candy machine. I also have my coworkers where they won't give me any money for the machines. It's forces focus if you take away the temptation or at least the ability to get what you think you want.0 -
Start focusing more on your weekly caloric totals. You would have to eat 7000 excess calories plus the deficit you created during the week to actually gain fat. Most likely your "weight gain" is water weight.0

~ How about implementing your routine to seven days a week ? There is no rule that says you can only workout Mon - Fri. If you know you are going to enjoy ( splurge ) on the weekends ... definitely hit the gym ! Earn those extra calories early in the am ... and then enjoy the rest of your day !

I do the same exact thing. Throughout the week I am very busy at work so I don't even have time to think about food, then on the weekends with down time, I eat to keep busy.0

I guess it comes down to how bad do you really want to lose weight. If you continue at what your doing you won't see much change. I had to give up the junk...and eat clean everyday.

Try to enter in what you're going to eat the day before.0
