The short answer:
No.
The long answer:
If it is a food, it has calories. If it has no calories, then it has no energy (calories are a measure of energy) so it would be hard to define it as food.
Some things - like spices, vinegar, pickles, artificially sweetened drinks, dressings etc have very low calories, so in some parts of the world, manufacturers are allowed to label them as 0 cals per serving. But, if you eat the whole jar of pickles (for example) you are taking in calories.
If you google "negative calorie foods" you'll find two kinds of info. First you'll see lots of lists of things that supposedly burn more calories to digest than they contain. Second, you'll find lots of explanations of the fact that this is really a myth.
There are lots of things (like many veggies) which have a very low number of calories - eat them and enjoy them.
There are also lots of things that you can use to add flavour (like hot sauce or spices) that have very low calories - they are a great way to add variety to your diet.
But, the important thing to remember is that you don't want to eat NO calories. If you eat NO calories you will die.
Calories are the fuel that keeps our bodies moving and give us energy to enjoy our lives. It's easy to lose your perspective and try to find lower and lower calorie foods, but that means you are missing out on lots of great energy and nutrition from foods like nuts, avocado, meat, olive oil etc.0 -
The theory is that some foods burn more calories being digested than they have in them, therefore they are zero calorie/negative calorie food. But it's more of a theory, I don't know if there is any validity to it.0

unless the soup was just water with nothing in it then maybe it would be no calories.
You know when I read the title, I don't know why, maybe because I didn't read it too well or read it too fast skimmering through.
I thought it said, "No Cat food!" That's when I clicked on the thread and read that it was really Cal..lol.0
