mfp says ive to eat 4580 cals per day to lose 2lb/w???

heres me sticking to 1500! any ideas how it comes to this? im sure its a mistake lol

(im 133k and 5'5" doing 20 mins cardio x 5 per week)

    I know my boyfriend at 230 got set to 2400 cal per day to lose 2 lbs per week, so I don't think it is completely insane. It really depends on the activity you set yourself to too.

    Are you sure you entered your info correctly? What did you set as your activity level? That seems awfully high....

    Try setting it to sedentary and entering the exercise separately.

    It depends how much cals you burn in those 20 min sessions. I doubt it's that much.

    Yes, it seems like you entered something wrong. I'm 167 kg. and MFP set me at 2650 cals per day to lose 2 lb/wk. And I believe MFP only factors exercise into your calorie allowance after you enter it in daily (not during the goal-setting process).

    Make sure you didn't put it as gain 2lbs per week and you have it set as lose 2lbs per week.

    That is my guess...

    sorry everyone, i didnt realise i had to come here to see replies. i thought no one was speaking to me lol.

    ive been snooping round the site and found all sorts of wonderful things!

    i did indeed have my info wrong, my height was in as some thing like 9feet tall! so all is well again, im back to 1.65 again, wee shortie lol

    If I was 9 feet tall, I would already be at my ideal weight!!!!! Probably under! Glad you got it figured out!
