Weighed in at the doctor's office

I went in for my yearly physical and weighed...169 lbs! The doctor's scale is pretty accurate, so I tend to believe that number a whole lot more than the one from my home scale. I haven't been this weight in about 3 years!!

    I weigh myself at home and was so excited that I have lost 10 lbs in about 3-4 weeks. Then I went to my Grandpa's house, and he has a doctor's scale that he bought, where you move the weights across the top.

    That scale said I was SEVEN pounds heavier than at home. Boooo! However, I lost 10 lbs no matter what I actually weigh. Still.... :grumble:

    Don't be to worried if the doctors scale at your friends house is off. The scales at most doctors offices are regularly calibrated. Unlike most premium home scales that self-calibrate, the doctors scale needs to be manually calibrated. It lasts basically forever, but can become inaccurate if no one is paying attention. As long as the scale you use at home is consitent it shouldnt matter.
