Tofu Shiritaki Noodles

Anybody know if any of the major super markets sell these, would love to try soem recipes with them, but can't can only but them online with expensive shiping.

    I actually put a similar post up a couple of days ago, but I only had one reply that said to check the recipie section of the forum, that there was a whole thread devoted to shirataki noodles. can't find it, however. BUT, i did some research and found out that you can buy them at asian supermarkets, and in large tesco's in the 'foods of the world' section. i still have had no luck however, but hope these suggestions help you a little.

    Note these are yam not tofu, but they have tofu as well (yam is just fewer calories)

    Depends on where you live. I know that Publix (florida) has them and Wegmans (NY) has them or any of the natural food stores.

    I get mine at Winn Dixie. They're in the produce section by the egg roll wrappers.

    I now see them at Shoprite and Stop n Shop. Usually in the produce Isle by the vegetarian products.

    Publix?? None of the Publix's near me carry them. :frown: Other than doctors offices, the only place I can find them at is Nutrition S'Mart, but I think that's only in Florida, as well.

    If they're the same as those Miracle Noodles, just go to the Miracle Noodle website, and they have a search option that shows you who carries them.

    I can typically find them at Whole Foods Market in the refrigerated section (milk, yogurt, etc.).

    I live in a small town in Canada and was actually very surprised to come across them in my local grocery store. They are packaged wet and the store, Save On Foods, keeps them with their packaged salad greens and herbs. They won't be in the noodle or international foods section, they're in a fridge somewhere!

    Lowes foods carries shiritaki noodles - one has tofu and the other is made from chickpea and potato starch, but I order regular miracle shiritaki noodles from amazon.com.

    Thanks, strange I enquired with Tesco, and a rep rang me back to say they did stock them. I came across zero noodles, are they OK?
