Gimme your best plateau BUSTSERS! HELP!

I need help. Give me your best plateau busters. I've lost nearly 60 lbs, but I've been at this plateau for nearly a month and supposedly I've "gained" 5 lbs, but I know it has to be water weight and I don't know how to get ride of it. Anyway, I'll take any help/tips I can. I'm desperate.
Things I'm trying:
-a 14 day cleanse (because I have been having trouble with regularity)
-drinking TONS more water
-cutting out caffeine
-change up workout routine and add running at least 20 min per day
-no food past 7:30pm
Things I think could be a problem:
-too much sodium (I watch sodium but I work at Subway, so it's hard to avoid....)
-too much sugar both real and artificial (I've been drinking a lot of Vitamin Water and Mio water etc.)
-caffeine/energy drinks (I've been getting the low cal/low sugar ones, but still, maybe it's that....)
Things I'm considering:
-cutting out carbs, just for a short period (really don't want to do this)
-buying Shakeology
-starting Insanity (probably doing this anyway just because I should and it's good for me)
Anyway, I have 35-45 lbs to go and I want it OFF. Badly. Any help?

I started snacking more and I added peanut butter into my diet and avocado. Yum.0

Eat at maintenance for 2 weeks, drop back into a deficit , and you will lose again. Sure fire.0

Two things: I log all my food and I eat more calories (staying just under TDEE since I am close to my goal weight).0

Cut out the sugars, first of all. Make sure you're logging the sugar content (change your food diary settings). Also, I drink a ton of water. No vitamin waters or juice or any of that. Strictly water-only. You'd be surprised how much crap goes into your body with that stuff.0

Don't cut carbs, just lower your carbs and make sure you're eating healthy carbs.
Increase protien
Lower sodium
Increase water
Snack more - healthy snacks between meals
Beware of Insanity or the like as many (to include me and my husband) do not lose much weight - but do lose inches.0 -

Cutting carbs short-term will cause you to gain weight again once you start eating them again.
Lowering sodium and increasing water is always a good tried and true method. It's worth a shot.
How accurately are you eating above your BMR and below your TDEE on a regular basis?
You may also want to try zig-zagging and looking at a weekly calorie allocation rather than a daily one.0 -
Oh, plateau is a dirty word. You're body is just adjusting to the tremedous changes you've made. It's going what the hell are you doing? Finally it catches up with you and the scale starts moving again, but if you're taking other measurements, this is the time when I have found I notice inches melting away and pants falling down. Eat more, keep excercising and don't let the scale rule your life or your mood. Keep plugging away, and your body will catch up.
Definitely go for Insanity. You'll feel so strong when you finish each workout.

I keep misread this topic as saying "BUTTSECKS" I think I'm getting dyslexic.
For the me the easiest way to break plateaus is just eat near maintenance or even over it for a few days and then go back to what I was doing. It always seems to work for me.0 -
I have been battling the same 2 pounds (lost, gain, lost, gain) for a little over a month. It is beyond frustrating. I increased my calories. Changed my exercise routines. Drinking 3-4 more cups of water a day. And I can't seem to break through0

The biggest change I've made is drinking energy drinks and getting Starbucks. I order sugar free syrups with fat free milk, but I know it still has quite a bit of calories, so I'm cutting both those things out.
I've also gone to McDonald's a couple of times and gotten the Cherry Berry Chiller which I know if full of sugar and yesterday I went and got a medium mocha frappe thinking it couldn't be THAT bad, but after I bought it I decided to look it up on MFP and just the medium was damn near 500 calories O_O so I tossed the whole thing out.
But yeah I need to start logging so I can really see what's going in.0 -

Any reason your not logging your food regular ?
Yes because I was getting obsessed with every single calorie and I was working out two times a day almost six days a week and wanting my net cals to be negative.... I was becoming way too obsessed and the stress was causing me to plateau even with all the exercise, so I backed off and tried to keep eating healthy without overwhelming myself. It's been fine until now an I actually lost 8 lbs since I stopped logging, but now it won't come off.0 -

^ This. I was in Miami for a week and was mindful of the things I was eating but obviously couldn't be as good as I am when I'm home. When I got home I was down 1lb and ever since I've been back the scale is going down every week.0 -
I would start by switching to plain old water. The perservatives in Mio may be bad for your body's chemistry and drinks like Vitamin Water contain high fructose corn syrup, which has A BUNCH more glucose than white sugar. So, while you're not drinking soda, your body is still getting liquid sugar.
The change up in the fitness routine may help, too.0 -

My clothes are still fitting great and my measurements are the same, so I'm not losing inches, but I feel really bloated and yuck no matter what I eat. I wake up bloated :? That's why I'm trying this cleanse for right now even though I don't believe in cleanses because you just lose water weight, I still need to get cleaned out.0 -

Yeah I know all about that. When I did 30 Day Shred I only lost 11 lbs of the promised "20 lbs", BUT I lost MAJOR inches and my body changed drastically. I have a friend who's a BeachBody coach and she's talking to me about other options besides Insanity, so I'm looking into Brazil Butt Lift and Turbo Fire right now.0 -

I think, its a very good idea to start logging, only then can you make a decent decision, as what to do next.

Do you have a coach to help assist you with your shakeology or insanity?
I do shakeology and slim in 6, but also stuck in a plateau. I am starting to increase my water to 12 cups per day (using rule of thumb to divide your weight in half and taht equals the ounces of water to drink per day). I am also trying calorie comfusion. I upped my cals for a week and a half and now I am back down to 1200.
But my suggestion is to TRACK EVERYTHING. Consistency is a big factor in all of this. Stick with it. we can all do it.0 -

I haven't hit a true plateau, probably because I can account for all the times I had trouble losing. For one, irregularity will really screw with you. I gained an inch on my tummy and weight was up like 4 pounds from my lowest weight. Psyllium husk powder and you should become friends. Perhaps besties. Get your fiber into the 30-40g range, drink lots of water, and if you are the type that likes to drink alcohol, a night out can be good for clearing water retention. For me: Add calories, go lower carb if possible, and increase cardio. Usually in two weeks that would turn things around for me.0

The worst for me was the other day when I had a smoothie. So much sugar! If you track these things and flat out avoid any restaurant you can drive through, it will help.0 -
Wait before you go eating less or more, start logging your calories first.
Find out your maintenance calorie "estimate" then add a sensible deficit.
