Couch to 5k

Just downloaded the app! Have heard so many people talk about it! I used to be a running- well when I was in volleyball I ran 2-5 miles a day and am hoping this will get me to like running again! I went to the gym yesterday and could only run half a mile at a 12 min pace! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THIS WILL DO! Have any of you tried it? Do you have any pointers? I am adding it to my 30 min a day cardio (elliptical) and am just doing this at a different part of the day ...most likely when I wake up in the morning before work!

    My only pointers depend on your level of fitness. The real key seems to be to not push yourself too hard. If you're feeling too much pain, the "power through it" mindset can lead to an injury that will really slow you down.

    If you have to, do a certain week twice.

    But if you can run a half mile already, you'll probably be ok. I couldn't run a quarter mile when I started.

    Thanks!!! I just got done with it! I just ran at a 8 min pace for the minute....30 mins killed me but i felt great afterwards!
