This morning I woke up and went into the kitchen. I decided "after sunday and monday's junk food binges, im going to be good today" Right next to my oatmeal, was a pan of brownies. My mom made them last night. there were 9. I ate 6 1/2. (she doesnt use the oil in the mix, but i still took in over 800 cal in less than 10 min) I'm not really sure what I was thinking, im pretty sure NOTHING was going thru my mind when i did it, but now i feel really sick. i also took in over 700cal in junk yesterday and sunday (you can see my diary). I feel DISGUSTING and sick.

--I was restricting severely before (very unhealthy-low intakes) and I was trying to recover. but that went down the drain the past two days.

If I exercise off about 600-800 cal today will this morning's junk binge still hurt me, weight wise?

Sorry, I'm just laughing right now at the thought of you standing at the counter shoving those brownies in. Every woman's dream, I tell you. I'm going to live vicariously through you for a bit. :)

Seriously, tho, if you did that every single day, you'd be in trouble. You already know that. The bigger problem here is that you have that brownie taste still in your mouth, and once you binge, it's 10x harder to get over it. The cravings for the next 2 weeks are going to be a b*tch. But get rid of the brownies (DO NOT EAT THEM) and just keep doing what you're doing diet and exercise-wise. You fell off the wagon- big deal, you're human. Get back on, find a more MODERATE path and recommit now. :)

Thanks. I've been pretty bad for about 3 days now. Hopefully I can get back up and do this the right way real soon!
  • I know the feeling, went to this Ice Cream place here that serves cones the size of a volleyball. well, like 1/2 the size anyways. I ate my whole cone and helped my kid with 1/2 of hers. I did this Saturday, but after that I behaved for the rest of the long wekeend and only am up 2 pounds today, so even though I feel some guilt. I know it is just a 1 day "fun time" and I can move on and keep doing well. It is nice to see that others here are HUMAN and goof up sometimes. But hey, it's a marathon, not a sprint.
