I got this ad in my email and thought others would be interested. I bought this HRM a few months ago from buy.com. It's on sale for $19.99 with free shipping. I think the regular price is like $89.

I can't figure out how to make this a clickable link.

I assume you like yours, otherwise you wouldn't post this?
Do you have any comments about it's performance/accuracy?

    Thanks!

I do like mine...if I was rich I'd get one that doesn't use a chest strap, but I'm not so I make do with this one! I need to get another one because I broke the strap on it. It wasn't the product's fault, it's not like it fell apart. I got impatient one day and yanked on it to get it off and I broke it. Totally my own fault.

I found the accuracy to be way different than what the machine says. According to the machines, the treadmill way overestimated my burned calories, while the elliptical way underestimated my burned calories. It was an eye opener! You can enter all your info, age, height, weight, male or female, etc. It's definitely worth $20, I don't know that I'd pay $90 for it. Then again, I'm cheap and broke.

Thanks! I bought one. I can't afford dropping $100 right now on the Polar F6 I've been pining over and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to find a comparable HRM for $20 including shipping anywhere else (plus since it's being delivered to me, I'm not spending gas money, either  ).
    Thanks again!

Thanks! I just ordered too and even though it says FREE shipping I was charged $7.09 for shipping. Weird! But still cheaper than many others out there.

You should have picked the longest shipping, the 7-9 days shipping was free. But yes, still a deal!

Grrrr!! I didn't know LOL, I clicked "pay thru paypal" and I guess if you pay thru paypal it doesn't give you a shipping option, it just picks one for you.

This looks like a great deal, I bought mine from ****s sporting goods and I have a polar f4. I paid 96 for mine. Well worth it the strap does not bother me at all. My husband may take advantage of this one he is just now getting into exercise.

Well off to the gym hope everyone has a great day

OK, I bought one. (Had to pay shipping on it though.) I've got my profile set up. I don't seem to be able to make it show the heart rate. It says to "press and hold the lower left hand button for 3 seconds." I assume they are referring to the Mode button? When I press it for 3 seconds, it gives me something that says "Warm Up" at the bottom. There is a number up top but it keeps changing and it's way too low to be my heart rate. Maybe I don't have the chest strap adjusted correctly? The manual says to place it above the heart. I tried it both above and below (above and below my breasts) and get the same results. Yes, I wet the back before attaching.

I feel stupid. Can anybody offer any suggestions.

Don't feel stupid, you'll get used to working it!

Tap the lower left button until it gets to timer, when you get there you will see a warm up timer (if you have it set up that way). Tap the start/stop button on the upper right corner, that starts the timer. If you tap the upper left button once, that will show the herat rate on top, the timer in the middle, and the % of heart rate on the bottom. Tap it twice more and you'll see heart rate on top, calories burned in the middle (kcal) and % of heart rate at the bottom. To reset the timer, tap the start/stop button on the upper right, and hold down the bottom right 'set' button.

    Does that help?

Thanks a lot! Boy, the instructions sure don't tell you that. I'll give it a try.

I finally received mine Tuesday thanks to my incompetent mail carrier & Columbus Day. The free shipping was worth the wait to me, though.

So far I love it. I mean, what HRM can you buy for $20 (including shipping) with the same features? You're going to pay at least 3-4x that for similar products on the market. This HRM appears to monitor my heart rate accurately and I'm really glad to know I'm actually keeping my heart rate in the target zone when I'm doing cardio. The calories burned feature, stopwatch, timer, watch, etc. are just icing on the cake for me. So, yeah I love it and kind of can't believe it was just $20. Thanks Toots99!

I agree! 100% worth every penny.
I received mine 10/15 and I've used it every day since. No issues and measures my heart rate accurately. Easy to use - I just press a button & start exercising. From what I can tell, even the calories burned function is pretty accurate (most of the time it is close to what MFP says).
