West Virginia/Kentucky- Hatfield McCoy Marathon

Anyone near here? The Hatfield and Mccoy marathon will be June 9th. There will be a half marathon and then a full marathon; I was hoping to do it this year but I need to train a little more/longer. Hopefully next year I'll be one of those runners. More details are at http://www.hatfieldmccoymarathon.com.

    Geez, there sure is a lot of buzz about the Hatfield/McCoys lately. I blame the History channel.

    I have not heard of it it sounds cool I would like to know more about it I am taping the 3 day show on the history channel.

    It doesn't have anything to do with the show actually.

    This marathon takes place every year, it's the 13th year I believe.

    And runners from all over the world show up in our small town to run this; It's pretty cool to meet all of those people that come in for it.

    Watched it last night. It cuts into my workout times tonight so I will have to catch the encore performance

    I'm doing a walking marathon in the Moonwalk Edinburgh Scotland on June 9th. Can't imagine running that distance though! Maybe next year.

    I'm game for next year but I'm not ready this year! I'm currently training for a half in Oct. (My First!)

    I've heard of it.. but haven't run it, yet :) . It does look like fun. My next race is the Big 5 (half) Marathon next month.
