Weigh weekly or monthly?

I had a tough weekend and was unable to count so I thought I would push through, stay on track, and just weigh in next week, but now I am thinking I may feel better with results if I weigh in come June.

When I started my journey, I weighed on Monday morning. I quickly realized that I preferred to weigh on Friday in case I had a rough food weekend. That worked really well for me when I was doing mainly cardio. When I started lifting heavy, I only weighed every 30 days. I was pretty close to my goal weight and knew that I would see larger results. This made me be very strict with my calorie intake since I was going longer without getting on the scale.
I say do what works best for you, but I don't recommend weighing more than once each week at most. If you feel better about weighing before the end of June then do so, but don't weigh again until at least a week later.0 -
I weigh in once a month because I have gotten to the point in my weight loss where it is slow .... Most of the time I am not very egar to get on the scale to begin with so it is not hard for me to wait for that month to roll around. I usually do it on Wednesday because it is the day right before my husband gets back from offshore.0

I like to weigh in weekly. Helps keep me on track better. Then I can see my results and know if I need to change anything up.0

Yea me too...My wieght loss has slowed, and I often feel bad as the results come in. So I'll wieght in less and continue to work my plan. I have to remember that wieght is one thing, but health is another. Being healthy is my goal. Thanks Ladies. 51lbs down...19lbs to go till touchdown.0

Thank you all and congrats on your success and progress!
I cracked and weighed myself and wasn't too bad, lost a pound
I think I'll try for now for every two weeks, since it's the beginning and move into once a month when I feel ready.0 -
I weigh in monthly. I found everytime I looked at the scale and either saw a slight gain or no loss I would lose motivation. Soon after I would quit the gym. So I figure once a month is ok for me because no matter what I am sure I will have lost SOMETHING in the time span of 1 month which will keep me motivated.
This is what works for me, and is diff. for everyone0
