Yes, it can!
In general, what you should try to do is track how many calories you eat in a normal day. Don't do anything differently, just track what your normal caloric intake is along with how many calories you normally burn in a day. Then, once you know how much you eat normally, set your net calorie goal to be 500 calories per day higher than that. That should give you approximately a 1 lb/week weight gain.
To set up a custom calorie goal, what you can do is click on the "My Home" tab, then click on "Goals", then click on "Change Goals". Choose the "custom" option, and then you'll be taken to a screen where you can set your nutritional goals to whatever you'd like. Set the calorie goal to that +500 calories/day number, and you can then track your food intake against that goal.
