I started my weight loss journey in mid January of this year. I'm 25 years old and 5' 8". Last May I had my son and decided it was time to get back to my young adult college healthy weight to be active and healthy with him! My pet peeve is to hear it was just baby weight, that's how you're losing it! No, it's hard work and dedication and THAT's how I'm losing weight. When I became pregnant I was right at 200 lbs even, 227 lbs at the hospital before birth and get this... 224 lbs when I returned home! In January I was 213 lbs when I stepped on the scale one Sunday morning and had decided I had HAD ENOUGH! I joined the Y, downloaded and began Couch to 5k, and counted my calories using MFP. I'm in love with health and fitness now and am so excited to see where this phase in life takes me! Here are some pictures of before and in progress ;-) I still want to tone and lose those last 20 lbs or so! I started as a size 18 pants, XL shirts and dresses, as of today down to a 8/10 pants and M shirts and dresses :-)

About 1 week after my son was born last May 2011-220 lbs
