hello peeps newbie here 62lbs to loose :-(

Good morning everyone, joined this site a few days ago and have been perusing ever since!

I need to loose 62lbs, gosh seems like a mountain, however I just want to get a chunk off ASAP and I know that will motivate me to keep going.

I'm following a (V?) LCD of about 1000 for a week or so to shift some bulk and then I'll go up to about 1300 or so to hopefully loose 1-2lbs a week.

For now I'm doing a diet a friend had to do prior to her gastric bypass operation which is 4 muller light yogs, 4 tins ww soup and a pint of skim milk and lots of water. I actually have tonsillitis at the moment so the diet is suiting me well because it's hard to swallow just now!

In 1996-99 I lost 65lbs taking me from 16 stone 6 to 12 stone 1 but I only kept it off for a year then it slowly crept back on till I was 15 stone 10 then I got pregnant, never got below 16 stone after pregnancy, then for my second pregnancy I was 17 stone 4 to start and the least I've got to since then is 16stone 12lbs. Anyway I'm done having babies now so I need to concentrate on myself. It's a bit ridiculous trying to loose baby weight when your kids are now almost 10 and 6 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway thats me. I'm 39 and don't want to be fat and 40, I have 11 months to loose it!

Good Morning.. sorry you are feeling a bit poorly - there is nothing worse than a sore throat - and a bit of a drastic way to lose weight!!!!

I have beeen on this site since January this year. I was sick of how I felt and looked and something just clicked (cliche but true) that now was the time to do something permenant about by weight. I am basically exercising more and dare i say it i am enjoying (swear word i know) it. I have also cut down on my portion sizes and am avoiding my favourite food as much as possible - cheese - the smellier, stronger the better.

If you want a nutty pal from the UK, please feel free to add me.

    Sue
