So I'm pescetarian, which means I don't eat meat but I eat fish and I am just wondering what are the best foods to eat before and after going to the gym.
Any ideas would be great, I'm still fairly new to all this!
Thanks!

Before: 1-2 oatcakes
After: A good clean healthy meal
Assuming you are doing it to keep fit and not build muscle.0 -

Similar to what I do, except I don't do a before meal at all. My tummy is kinda lame, and I get sick if I eat before working out.
I like to eat a nice meal after though.0 -
My favorites are potatoes or rice for carbs. If you eat dairy, whey protein can be a good recovery aid. If not, Tuna, tilapia, halibut, salmon, etc. are excellent protein sources.0

Check out the research on lowfat chocolate milk after a workout. It is surprisingly good for you.0

boiled egg is great for a quick protein. It keeps my blood sugar level without feeling heavey.
after i like greek yogurt and fruit.
These are what fuel me but I am not a proffesional trainer. Curious as to what they would suggest.0
