Hello all,

I have become a lazy dude that likes bad food and its time for a change. Im looking to get some friends on here so that we can help each other stay motivated and most of all to keep me on track with my nutrition and fitness goals.

Welcome to mfp! This is a great accountability tool! Good luck. It's not a hard thing to do, as long as you stay committed and focused on good nutrition and exercise.

Welcome, Waller. Motivation is easy... portion control... that's hard!

    Hey Waller,

We're already friends, but I thought I'd add here.
I saw you've been active with some running - I find using running as a weapon to knock me back under my calories target is perfect if I go over. I don't particularly enjoy running so I find the thought of having to run extra far to cover off any extra calories I have had is an extra motivator not to splurge!
I see you have a family, if you're like me this is the hardest thing to manage because not everyone in your family will be calorie counting. I find it easier if I do join in with the bad food when the family has it and just eat it in moderation and if it does put me above my daily target then I use the treadmill to get back under like I said above!

Good luck dude! Let's do this!

Bad food is all around, portion control is important and excercising will help you drop the 50lbs. I am 10 days new to this place and I enjoy it very much. I'll snd you an add. The more support, the merrier we all are. :)
