For the last 12 years or so it's been: not eating white flour, white rice, white potatoes, white pasta, added sugar, processed foods (and beer). I had been slowly gaining weight from birth on until I cut out the whites. I lost 20 LBS and kept it off ....

until menopause (and now I'm focusing on that again, and upping the exercise).

So for me it was cutting out the whites and the crap. It's so easy to choose right with those things in mind.

Always investing in my next workout.

For example: Only rewarding myself with things that will motivate me to keep going, instead of backsliding.

So instead of getting an ice cream cause I went to the gym, I'll add two new songs to my workout playlist. Investing in my next workout makes consistency smething I never have to worry about trying at. Cause I wake up wanting to run to those two songs... not seeing that dessert on my tummy.

No starchy things for diner except for a tiny dinner roll.

No food after 9pm (after dinner basically, I try to have dinner late so I don't get hungry again)

    Patience.

    ~Consistency.
~One blow out meal doesnt mean the rest of the day has to be a write off
    ~Committment
~Change my thinking. This is a lifestyle change, not a 4 week sprint to lose 10 Lbs.
