I am a stay at home mom who would like to start incorporating weights into my exercise routine. I'm not sure how to start. For those who work out at home, what is your routine? Thanks for any advice!

Get your hands on Chalean Extreme Videos, the video set has 3 weight lifting videos that are really great for beginners and you will see amazing results. I borrowed mine from a friend, I know you can find them online, maybe the library and buy them online also.0

She's tough, but this is as good a place to start as any.
If you don't have dumbbells, or have resistance bands instead, look up bodyweight or resistance band routines (respectively) in google, select video (on the left), select 20 mins or longer (also on the left, filters out the misc).0 -
I also love Chalean X, and since I can't afford weights, I bought resistance bands (in the video there's always a woman doing the exercises with them).0

I suggest that you start out slow and you get pick up the rubber band and light weights. Any DVD is always a good way to started out too.

Chalean Extreme IS really a great program. Im currently doing a p90x/ Turbo Fire hybrid first..then plan on starting CX again. I just started incorporating weight into my cardio and I am deff. seeing a difference. I dont know what other women use but I'm new to this so I have weights ranging from 3lb-15lbs as of right now. But deff. make sure you still keep up with cardio at least 3 times a week if you are still trying to lose weight.0
