'Fat Bottom Girls' by Queen has been my theme song since high school. Except for a brief period in the 80's when it was John Cougar's 'I Need Lover That Won't Drive Me Crazy'.

Flogging Molly - Kiss My Irish *kitten*

Edit: Or Devil's Dance Floor. I'm having a hard time making my mind up. It'd definitely be either a Flogging Molly or a Drop Kick Murphys song.

Good choices! Did you see Flogging Molly this year? The opening band, The Devil Makes Three is awesome.

The Devil Makes Three was indeed awesome!

    Hot Mama--Trace Adkins

it just seems like a good theme song and seems to promote a healthy self image--

"You're doin' all you can to get in them old jeans.
You want that body back, you had at seventeen.
Baby, don't get down; don't worry 'bout a thing.
'Cause the way you fill 'em out, hey, that's all right with me.
I don't want the girl you used to be.
An' if you ain't noticed, the kids are fast asleep,

    An' you're one hot mama;
You turn me on, let's turn it up,
An' turn this room into a sauna.
    One hot mama,
    Oh, whaddya say, baby?
    You wanna?

Well, I know sometimes you think that all you really are,
Is the woman with the kids an' the groceries in the car.
An' you worry about your hips an' you worry about your age.
Meanwhile I'm tryin' to catch the breath you take away.
Oh, an' believe me, you still do.
Baby, all I see, when I look at you, "

I think sometimes we need a reminder that we are allowed to age, and that men DO like curves, and 37 year old mothers of 3 don't NEED to have the body of a 17 year old.

    Killer Queen, by um, Queen.
  • Good choices! Did you see Flogging Molly this year? The opening band, The Devil Makes Three is awesome.

I had tickets, but plans fell through at last minute. I *will* see them!

I've seen them several times, and I think this was their best performance yet. I also saw Dropkick this year (about a week apart). That was a great show too.

Devil Makes Three was pretty awesome.

I hate you all. Since my FT job is working at an arena, I have a hard time committing to actually going to a concert lol. I spend 40 hours a week there to begin with... I have a hard time justifying going back, even for fun LOL
