Good article to read. Loving my daily grapefruit with just a little bit of Splenda sprinkled on it. They are so juicy this time of year.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but (and I love grapefruit) it's not the fat burner that has been suggested. It is good for you but this article is not really reliable information. Grapefruit is also contraindicated if you're taking certain types of medications.....

If you want to increase your lycopene intake (probably a good thing) eat more tomatoes and watermelon and the claims made in relation to fighting colds and infections etc are based on vitamin c content and while vitamin c is a known anti-oxidant it's abilities to boos immune function are largely unfounded.

The only true fat burner of which I know works is eating well balanced meals and getting my buttox off the couch. =) I just love real grapefruit because it makes me feel like I'm eating those Sour Patch candies without all the guilt.

Why do you think some sources claim it to be a "fat burner?"
