    Not from by any stretch of the imagination (I'm from Boston, MA) but I'm heading to NS as part of a vacation June 16!!!

    Well... emphasis on the from part. My Dad's side of the family settled in NS (around Fenwick) back when Robert Ripley arrived in 1774 and had been there ever since. My dad was born in Halifax but joined the Air Force and left. He was posted back there so I did spend 5 years growing up in Dartmouth and Shearwater.

    I was born and raised in the Annapolis Valley but I now live in Winnipeg...lol. Does that count? ;)
