I used "circuit training" when I did the P90X.0

I just started mine today, and listed it as circuit training. I looked a calesthenics (push-ups) and it was the same burn.:) They both seemed really high to me, but oh well!!0

wow, it does seem really high!
Thanks!0 -
I'd suggest using a HRM and creating your own exercise. So I have one for Plyo, ChestShoulderTriceps, Yoga, Kenpo, Etc. Makes it sooo much easier!0

Have you found this site already? http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc
It seems to be great on accuracy and has sooo many possibilities to find what is the right one. I have added some of the ones I do frequently to "my exercises" in MFP because then it is easy to know it is accurate each time.0 -
www.p90xcalories.com
Although I find their estimates to be a little high, at least according to my heart rate monitor.
If you can get an HRM, do it...I find that I work out so much harder when I know if I'm in the fat burning zone!0 -
You can actually add it to your diary.
If doing Plyo, add it to cardiovascular/Add own exercise.
Best way to determine the calorie burn is to get a monitor.
However, if you don't have that and have no intention, 600 calorie burn seems to be a fair number based on posts an comments all over the internet.0 -
I started with the general categories on MFP, but didn't think they were right. Then I tried the P90xcalorie site and found that those seem pretty high for me. So I got a HRM and found that both were incorrect, although MFP was maybe a little closer. I then just created my own exercises and enter my cal burn each time.0
