Need help with calories?

I need some help! If I'm eating around 1400 calories a day and burning around 200 calories a day (by exercise) is that enough to lose weight? I've already calculated my BMR(1689.35) and multiplied it by 1.55 which is 2618.49. Then I subtracted 500 which is 2118. Then I filled out everything on this site and it said to be eating 1200 calories (more if I'm exercising) so I'm really not sure what to go by. I'm new to this whole thing so it's quite confusing. Should I be burning more? Or should I be eating more/less? I'm really not sure! Sorry for the confusing post but some help would be greatly appreciated

Personally, I would use the calculated numbers rather than MFP's. I changed my diet profile as 'active' so that my numbers come close to my calculated BMR and TDEE. MFP now gives me a daily number close to my TDEE minus deficit, so on workout days I add my calories burned and the numbers are close to my TDEE.0
