I am hearing alot about the wonderul benefits of green tea. I want to starting drining more of it. So my question is, how to have it. Warm and straight with no additives or a premade cold green tea. I certainley dont want to drink my calories or add any high fructose corn syrup in my body. I had some turkey hill green tea with ginseng and honey, its delish but probably not the best choice.
any suggestions?

What I do is boil some water in a kettle then take 8-10 teabags (depending on how strong I want my tea for the next few days) and place the bags into my coffee maker pot. When the water boils, I pour it into the pot and let the teabags soak in there for about 10 minutes and I fill up a pitcher 1/4-1/2 of a way with ice cubes. Then I just take the teabags out of the coffee pot, toss them in the trash and fill up the pitcher with the tea! Usually it lasts me 2-3 days if I have 2-4 cups a day. I usually use the Lipton Green Tea bags with either Honey Lemon or Citrus in them. Zero calories!0

On dr oz's website he recommends a natural metabolism booster...green tea, with mint leaves and tangerine, to drink three times a day. I drink it cold a few times a day with the mint leaves. I also on occasion take green tea tablets. Hope this helps. No calories, I add Splenda usually....0

I prefer it hot-- just plain green tea, maybe with stevia. It will not magically make you thin or even boost your metabolism by more than a mite, but to me, it's just comforting to have a mug of tea.0

I am a HUGE tea drinker i make two pots a day and end up drinking a ton of tea which is good usually its oolong tea ( good for blocking fat absortion or green tea a metabolism booster and age dyfer antioxidant etc.
Anyway what I do is boil it and drink it hot and may sound weird but i fry my vegetables in green tea instead of water or oil and add flax seeds to just bout anything but thats another topic.
Also ! greentea is very very yummy cold with ice or in a smoothie Keep drinking the good stuff!!0 -
Hot tea in the winter, iced tea this time of year. I make a pitcher every day or 2 in my iced tea maker. It's not green tea, but I am currently addicted to Celestial Seasonings Wild Berry Zinger Herb Tea.0
