2000 calories a day

I have my daily calories set to 2000 a day, I started reading some posts about this same discussion.. so i decided to look what the guided calorie would tell me to eat a day and to my surprise it was 2130 ?! I just feel like i am not loosing the weight i should be.. (&& no i dont want to loose it to quickly, i just dont know what to do) help please !

Ash....your diet shouldn't only be about calories. It truly depends on what FORM of calories you're getting: fat, carbs, protein and sugars. 2,000 calories is the average for Americans to eat per day. I would worry moreso about "better food" than the actual calories it contains. For instance, you know fruit is very sugary and the calories can add up quickly, but no diet should put a limit on fresh fruit or veggies you can eat. My calorie goal is 1,400 on here but I go over a lot from eating peanut butter, which is full of the GOOD fats an protein. Hope this helps!0

I have lost 12lbs so far, I am not sure my exact weight right now because my scale went crazy on me ( Plus i do not feel comfortable yet just putting my weight out there even if it is an estaminet ). but my goal weight to be is no less than 140 and i am 5'8. I am 22 years old and i exercise mon-fri for 30 to an hour0
