I eat about 1200 cals a day (i eat clean) and I exercise for at least 25 mins (High intensity training/running, and weights)
I've been stuck at 127 pounds for a while now... should I up my calories?

two things you need to know about me:

1. I have a really slow metabolism that's why I'm scared to increase my calories
2. I'm 5''1 and 18 yrs old.. 127lbs is considered a good amount of weight for my age but since I'm short it looks like I gain more... I read somewhere that the less you weigh, the harder it is to lose weight.

so yea, if anyone has advice please help me!!

I would try some calorie zig zags.

    1200 (rest day)
    1500-1600 (workout day)

Back and forth, with some mixing up going on based on hunger or special occasions. I don't plan cheat days--life finds a way to hit me with them as it is. I do eat when I'm hungry, even if it doesn't fit into what I had planned.

It depends on a lot of different things: are you being honest about your daily activity level?-MFP has a setting to change this.
How often are you eating? Are you only eating 3 large meals a day? Or are you leaving most of your calorie intake for the day until dinner time? I find that a great way to increase metabolism is to eat as many small meals as you can manage throughout the day. A meal can consist of a piece of fruit or a handful of nuts, it's still considered a meal. Try to spread your calorie intake evenly across the day. If you don't eat often enough or enough calories your body will go into starvation mode and your metabolism will slow down to store energy. Another question; when you go to bed at night are you still hungry? If so, you may need to increase your calories or frequency of your meals. I hope this helps
