What weights do people use for the 30 Day Shred?

So I'm kind of all over with my work outs, but lately I've been doing the 30 Day Shred videos at night for a little extra exercise. Honestly, I'm not exactly following the schedule with it or anything because I started level 2 on day two. The exercises themselves aren't really causing me trouble, just the strength circuits.

The only weights I have are 6.6lbs each, so total I'm holding 13.2lbs. I can do most of the exercises, but towards the end I have to stop a few reps short. What is the, I dunno, "normal" range of weights that should be acceptable for this exercise routine? My birthday is coming up and I might ask for a proper set of weights for it. :P

    I've been using 5lb weights for it. I think the girls in the video use 2 or 3lbs and I know a lot of people use 3lbs.

    I use 2kg weights (approx 4.4lb)... I can do all the moves, but have to skip on 2-3 of the side lunges. I thought about getting lighter weights just for those, but have stuck it out and I'm managing to do more each day.
